The time is almost here! Tomorrow, my debut picture book from Free Spirit Publishing, MY LIFE AS AN ASTHMANAUT, will launch out of its pre-order slumber and blast off into the wide world for readers to enjoy! AAAAHHHHH!!!
The last few months have been busy, busy, busy. To build up momentum and anticipation for my book release, I've been securing reviews on sites like Goodreads, seeking blurbs from prominent figures, doing interviews on blogs and in the media, navigating pre-order campaigns, filming author promotional vids, negotiating partnerships with bookstores, non-profits, charities, and... yeah. Doing everything. And there is still more to do!
With my release so close, I think it's time to start revealing some big news! First up, I'm excited to announce that I'm going to be featured at the upcoming 2026 PSLA Conference on April 16th in amazing Altoona, PA!
This will be my first conference AND first signing event. Yep, tons of firsts. I'm definitely diving into the deep end of book promotion! If you live near central PA, please stop by between 4 PM and 6 PM at the Blair County Convention Center!
One of my region's largest newspapers, The Altoona Mirror, will be doing a piece about my book in the print edition. But before that's released, they did a smaller article on their website that also gives info on the PSLA Conference:

More updates will be coming thick and fast, and I'll be posting them on both my blog and through my newsletter. Look forward to when I'll reveal which celebrities in Hollywood and the sports world blurbed the book. And trust me, these endorsements blew me out of the water! ;)
